Internet and mobile

Four providers, fibre in most urban areas and 24-month contracts. Emergency SMS alerts only reach Cypriot SIM cards.

There are four providers — Cyta, Epic, PrimeTel and Cablenet. Fibre covers most urban districts and 200 Mbps costs €30–45 a month. A prepaid SIM can be bought on a passport straight away; a contract requires a residence permit.
